Will there be a literal new earth?

The Christian hope is not escape from matter but the renewal of it — a resurrected body on a restored earth, not disembodied souls in a distant sky.

Scripture: Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away.
