Who is the Antichrist?
John uses the term for any spirit denying that Jesus is the Christ come in flesh; Paul speaks of a coming man of sin. Both a present spirit and a final figure are in view.
Scripture: 1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists.
