One of the first pastors of the City Church of Montgomery — present-day Sahiwal — one of the earliest churches of that city. Led congregational Punjabi Zaboor and Masihi Geet worship and raised the household from which the Din Musical Dynasty grew: his sons Jamson J. Din (tabla master, composer) and Robson J. Din (M.Mus, classical maestro), grandsons Nadeem Jamil and Nada Jamil, and great-grandson Solat Nadeem.
